Now that the future of American Horror Story is secured for several more seasons on FX, Ryan Murphy, the creator of the series, is working on a spin-off for the very same channel. The information was revealed by the prolific producer on his Instagram account (see below).

The spin-off, titled American Horror Stories, is expected once again to take the form of an anthology. Unlike the original series, each one-hour episode will be completely independent from the others and will probably involve a ghost story. This new series could be the opportunity to see some of the well-known faces from American Horror Story such as Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, Evan Peters or Emma Roberts.

“American Horror Story” cast zoom call…where we reminisced about the good times…the spin off we're doing called "American Horror Stories" (one hour contained episodes)…when we will start filming the next season of the mothership…and other stuff I cannot print. It was so much fun and I'm glad we caught up. I miss everyone!
