Postponed several times because of COVID-19, the event The Happy Ending Convention 4 was held on November 13 and 14, 2021 with many members of the Once Upon A Time cast, including Lana Parrilla, the actress who played Regina / The Evil Queen.
The actress, very touched to be back with her fans in a real convention, answered during half an hour to their questions. During her panel, one question was about the people she would like to work with.
Without much hesitation, Lana Parrilla answered first Benicio del Toro (Usual Suspects, Snatch or Traffic). “I think many people know that I’m in love with Benicio del Toro since forever,” she said. She added that if working with him happens when he is 95 years old, it’s not a problem for her because he will still be full of talent.
The actress will later point out that as a New Yorker and Sicilian, she would also like the opportunity to shoot with Martin Scorcese. She added that in the course of her career, she has had the chance to meet “a lot of really wonderful actors that I’ve admired over the years” including Dame Judi Dench, Ed Harris, Patrick Swayze or Meryl Streep. This last meeting made her cry when it happened.
