Not broadcast on TV or on the Internet, without red carpet or stars, the 2022 edition of the Golden Globes took place in a strange atmosphere. Nevertheless, this did not prevent the Hollywood Foreign Press Association from awarding its favorite films, series, actors and actresses.

On the movie side, the journalists voted for The Power of the Dog by Jane Campion and West Side Story by Steven Spielberg. The first nominated movie won the Golden Globes for best drama, best director and best supporting actor. The second, a remake of the 1961 cult film, won the Golden Globes for best comedy or musical, best actress in a comedy or musical and best supporting actress.

As for the small screen, the series Succession, already at the top of the nominations, won 3 awards: best drama series, best actor in a drama series (Jeremy Strong) and best supporting actress (Sarah Snook). HBO / HBO Max, already well represented with Succession, gets three more Golden Globes, for Best Comedy (Hacks), Best Actress in a Comedy Series (Jean SmartHacks) and Best Actress in a Miniseries or TV Movie (Kate WinsletMare of Easttown).
