A trailer for the first part of Batman: The Long Halloween

Batman: The Long Halloween, the adaptation of the comic books by Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale, is revealed in a first trailer.

In this two-part animated movie, we will follow Batman as he joins forces with James Gordon, a police captain, and Harvey Dent, a young Gotham prosecutor who has not yet become Two-Face, in order to bring down the local mob, embodied by Carmine Falcone, alias “The Roman”. The hero will also have to face a serial killer named Calendar Man who is known for committing crimes that correspond with holidays and significant dates.

Directed by Chris Palmer and written by Tim Sheridan, Batman: The Long Halloween will be starring Jensen Ackles as Bruce Wayne / Batman. He returns to the Batman universe 11 years after dubbing Jason Todd/Red Hood in Batman: Under the Red Hood.

The voice cast also includes the late Naya Rivera as Selina Kyle / Catwoman, Josh Duhamel as Harvey Dent and Billy Burke as James Gordon. Troy Baker will play the Joker, Titus Welliver will dub Carmine Falcone, David Dastmalchian will be Calendar Man, Amy Landecker will play Barbara Gordon, Julie Nathanson will play Gilda Dent, Jack Quaid will be the voice of Alberto, Fred Tatasciore will play Solomon Grundy and Alastair Duncan will dub Alfred.
