Movies and video games based on comic books were always in the niche category of entertainment. Yet, over the past decade superhero movies became mainstream and there are so many of them out there it’s hard to keep track. As far as games go, those that were simply based on source material did great, but those that were released to promote those movies, ended up being just forgettable. Of course, there are lots of games based on comic books, but some of them were massive flops. Yet there are those that did exceptionally well, and here we are going to talk about them.

Jump Force

Anyone who loves Shonen Jump manga and anime has probably tried Jump Force. It’s a massive fighting game that includes all of the iconic characters from the popular manga series. The gameplay is easy to learn but hard to master which gives the game a lot of replay value and makes the online competitive scene very engaging.

Guardians of the Galaxy

This franchise has been popularized by the MCU movies, but the game really stands on its own feet. It’s a great action-adventure that will take around 15 to 20 hours to complete and some sections of it can be quite challenging. Great story, witty dialogs, and engaging gameplay make this title a must-play, even for those who are not Marvel fans.

Injustice

Injustice games give comic book stories a unique twist. This is a fighting game where heroes fight each other, and even some villains are on the side of good. It has a great story that justifies this messy situation, and it’s overall one of the best fighting games out there. If you love Justice League games you can even try some of the casino slots developed by NYX gaming group. You can find their content on some of the fastest withdrawal online casino sites and you can play a demo version for free. These are all secure platforms with a fast withdrawal process, so if you want to gamble with real money, it won’t be an issue.

Batman Arkham City

The Batman Arkham series gave us several amazing Batman games, but if we had to pick our favorite it would probably be Arkham City. It’s a great continuation of Arkham Asylum, it’s a practically open world, and there is an epic showdown against the Joker at the end. It’s almost impossible to top this experience. Batman is probably the most popular comic book character out there, and there are many slots developed by Microgaming that feature Gotham’s dark knight. These are even available on de casino site or online casinos in the Netherlands which legalized online gambling just recently. So, if Batman is your guardian angel or lucky juju, give these slots a few spins, who knows maybe you will win something.

Suicide Squad

We never had a good or memorable Suicide Squad game, but it seems that we are finally going to get one. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League isn’t out yet, but the gameplay footage we have seen so far looks very promising.

Deadpool

This one was released before Ryan Reynolds movies and it did amazing. If you like Deadpool the game will definitely be to your liking. Shooting, killing, slicing, and witty comments are all on point.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot

It’s difficult to count just how many Dragon Ball games are out there, but none of them caused such hype as Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot. This is a must-play for all anime fans, as you get to relive all of your favorite moments in incredibly animated cinematics. If you have never played previous Dragon Ball titles, just play this one, it’s the best.

Walking Dead

You might think that zombie apocalypse stories are so cliche but Walking Dead comics and releases from TellTale will prove you wrong. These are all narrative-driven experiences that are worth checking out.

Wolverine

Much like with Suicide Squad there is no Wolverine game that everyone is excited about. There were a few attempts in the past, and X-men Origins: Wolverine was decent at best. But it seems that this time around we are going to get an incredible release by Insomniac, but we are yet to get a release date.

Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales

Finally, we have Miles Morales Spider-Man, which is one of the latest releases for Sony. It was developed by Insomniac and received high praise, which is why we are so hopeful about Wolverine as well. The previous Spider-Man title was also amazing and one of the best games for Sony, so if you haven’t played that one, make sure you do.
