Une semaine après les Golden Globes, la Broadcast Film Critics Association a tenu sa 24e cérémonie des Critics’ Choice Awards. Une soirée qui aura vu de nombreux lauréats d’un Golden Globe repartir avec un nouveau prix. C’est notamment le cas pour Glenn Close qui est repartie avec l’award de la meilleure actrice (partagé avec Lady Gaga) tandis que Christian Bale a remporté celui du meilleur acteur. Alfonso Cuaron, Mahershala Ali et Regina King ont, comme aux Golden Globles, été récompensés.
Roma est le grand gagnant de la soirée avec quatre awards suivi de près par Black Panther et Vice qui repartent chacun avec trois prix.
